The Netball & Football Leadership Award is a great introduction into leadership giving learners knowledge of how to plan, deliver and reflect on engaging sessions which will be delivered in an extra-curricular setting. This is a partnership project with Active Schools, Morton in the Community and Clyde Netball Club. This project is in its augural year bringing together two existing projects to offer secondary pupils an opportunity to gain SCQF Level 5/6 Leadership Award in addition to sport related qualifications. This leadership award aims to help learners develop leadership skills such as organisation, communication, and teamwork, in addition to build confidence, self-esteem and resilience. Leaders will learn to take responsibility of themselves when leading or officiating for their peers or younger pupils. Award will be gained by summer 2025.
Camp notes
Please note all applicants MUST be available Wednesday 14th February 10-3pm and Tuesday 11th June 9.30-3.30pm. After the initial training days pupils will then complete placements during holidays and after school at times which suit them.
Notre Dame High School will be the venue.
